Earlier in April we were approached by a client whose son had decided to dedicate his 12th Birthday to fundraising to help spread joy across Toronto during these troubling times. When young Sammy Jr. explained his plan to raise both food and money for the Sai Dham Food Bank and The Amari Thompson Fund in support of Epilepsy Toronto, we knew we had to get involved and show our support to his noble cause.
In addition to the Pulse Realty Team, this global charity celebration in collaboration with Papaji Foundation, Feed the streets, as well as the Tristan Thompson Foundation & Sai Dham Food Bank was generously sponsored by the City of Brampton, The Toronto Raptors, Peak, Y Frozen Flavors, Ital Pasta, Longo, and many more local and international companies.
“We are truly excited and grateful to be working with the Papaji Foundation and Feed The Streets to celebrate 12 years of Samir Thapar Jr.th Virtual Birthday and all his initiatives to help supply food (and special surprises) to kids across the GTA on April 27. The Sai Dham Food Bank is the only food bank in Canada that is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and we appreciate all these supportive initiatives.“
– Vishal Khanna, Co-founder of Sai Dham Food Bank
While Sammy Jr’s birthday has passed, his goal of fundraising and doing what he can to support those in need through the Sai Dham Food Bank and Amari Thompson Foundation will continue on.

Canada’s first 24/7 food bank delivers food and staples throughout the GTA for the elderly and physically disabled.
The AMARI THOMPSON FOUNDAITON
The Amari Thompson Fund was created by NBA champion Tristan Thompson and his family to honor his younger brother, Amari, who lives with epilepsy. By learning first-hand the impact an epilepsy diagnosis can have on a family, Amari Fund helps families receive the support they need from counseling, education, and community support.
